It is almost the end of summer and that means Rush is right around the corner! Whether you are a freshman going through or already a member of a sorority, you will need plenty of dresses to make it through the event filled week.

Casual dresses and skirts are recommended for the first three rounds. The parties during these rounds are very short and you will be visiting majority of the houses so make sure you are comfortable. Cool, lightweight fabrics are a necessity because of the hot weather. Dresses such as this one-shoulder BCBGeneration or Melly M printed strapless dress are both great options! There will also be a lot of walking so comfortable shoes are essential. As the week progresses, the dress for the rounds gets nicer so make sure your outfits do as well. Again, these are long days so remember to dress comfortably!
Prefs is the last round of rush and is a more formal event. Dresses or skirts that you would wear to a wedding or church service are appropriate. Many girls will wear black dresses but don't be afraid to wear color. This Robin Jordan pink and black dress is a great example of how to incorporate color for this round. Some of our other favorite options for this round are pictured below. Heels are recommended for this day but are not required. 
After you have made the all important decision of what sorority to join, it is time to celebrate. Bid day is a very exciting day for all!! New members are required to wear white dresses and
